Now that the team is starting to gel, it looks like there's "rumors" abound that Shero may be knocking on Toronto's door to find Geno another Russian to play with on the ice. Obviously, consider the source, but ... it would be interesting:

SCOUTING REPORT
Assets:
Has sound instincts at both ends of the ice. A mobile skater with a keen sense of anticipation, he owns plenty of skill to produce points at the highest level. Smart and physically strong, he can play either wing position.
Flaws:
Must shoot a little more and start burying more of his chances in order to maximize offensive production in the NHL. Needs to do a better job of utilizing his physical gifts. Can be prone to prolonged scoring funks.
Career Potential:
Solid, versatile two-way winger.




Kulemin is a 2.800M cap hit and is signed through the end of next season. Ideally, you send someone like Kennedy (2.000M) and Tangradi (0.875M) or Lovejoy (0.525M) the other way to even out the cap hit.

I would like to see him play with Geno, I just don't know if it will happen.

I don't think Kennedy is wanted by anyone, even as part as a package deal.

A team like Toronto might see the potential in a guy like Tangradi, but overall, I don't think you'll get much for him as the centerpiece of any deal.

To land Kulemin, it'd cost one or two of the defense prospects, at a minimum.
