Supposedly ~100 shots fired.

Either this guy had a large number of magazines on him, he had extended sized magazines, or he started with the firearms and then used something else (knife?) to do the deeds.

So many possibilities of what the perp could have done in this case.

I'm hearing as many as 27 dead. Maybe even more. And a potential second shooter that they have in custody.

That's ... strange.
I've seen the 27 number floating around but nothing about a 2nd perp. The people on CNN keep mentioning a "purple van of interest" on the premises. Looks like there's going to be a live report from the police here in a couple minutes.

That's the first thing I saw when I turned the TV on this morning. I sure hope this isn't some bullshit "OMG world ending on the 21st". Not that having a different "reason" justifies doing this sort of atrocity or anything. I just don't want to believe people are THAT STUPID as to do stuff like this because of a Mayan long count calendar ...

CBS is reporting the 27 and the possibility of a second shooter. The ABC News link I posted at the beginning also mentioned the 2nd shooter.

I can't imagine two people planning this and carrying it out. But of course you have the two students at Columbine. The death toll with this one is more than twice Columbine.

Headline News on the TV saying 1 shooter dead, no confirmation on second gunman/woman. Mentioned a van again.

Apparently the school has a video monitoring system recording anyone coming in and out. The doors are locked and only opened if access is granted. Angry parent? Deranged family member or former employee? This just doesn't sound like it's going to be good stuff to listen to.

Also, if there's monitoring, there will likely be Columbine style CCTV footage.

I heard on CBS that they have a second guy in custody that they found in the woods by the school in camouflage pants and a black jacket. He may have just been in the wrong place and the wrong time, but that still sounds suspicious.
