Quotes of the Day

"I’m not sure. I’m not really thinking about that. We know that they’re trying to do the same thing we are and get ready for the playoffs, playing the right way. They have a lot of pride so we expect a tough hockey game. I don’t think you ever try to get occupied with who’s going to be in the lineup. You try to worry about your own game, but they are always intense games against the Rangers. I wouldn’t expect anything different here tonight. "
- Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby

"Luckily I have a pretty good-sized jaw. Lots of tissue there (laughs). But no, I’ll be alright."
- Pittsburgh Penguins C Joe Vitale

"This game felt better than the previous one in Buffalo. There is still room for refinement in my game. Talking to the D-men, our communication was great tonight. We had to kill some penalties and we did."
- Pittsburgh Penguins G Brent Johnson

"It's been a lot of fun. We did a good job coming in here and playing a tough Bruins team and fighting for that home-ice advantage."
- Pittsburgh Penguins RW James Neal

Head Coach Dan Bylsma Quote of the Day
"We’re playing the first-place team in our conference with the best record. They’ve been that most of the year atop the conference with the way they’ve played. They’ve played that way the last 5-10 games. Penalty killing is something they’ve been really good at. They're fifth in the league. Their team has played consistently at both ends of the rink. (Ryan) Callahan has made their team go with his 29 goals. Their defense has been very good with (Dan) Girardi and (Michael) Del Zotto leading the way defensively. We know we’re playing the first-place team, the New York Rangers, and we need two-points to secure home ice, which is real important for us as well. "

Three star selections, previous game

1st: SIDNEY CROSBY
2nd: MILAN LUCIC
3rd: KRIS LETANG

Winning Goaltender
Brent Johnson

Losing Goaltender

I think she's saying that she doesn't want home ice advantage for the 1st round, rather than where they play Philly on Saturday.

And all the records get thrown out once the playoffs start anyhow. Actually, a win against Philly on Saturday at the Consol would be a good way to get things changed around and a new mindset. Might make Philly start to wonder if they're ownership of the Pens there might be over.

They're losing their good luck ribs

Article ended with typical Philly lack of class.

How about the guy that wants to write bad restaurant reviews to get back at the restaurant owner? What a jackwad.

BTW, the Crosby comment is removed. Sensitive much?

EDIT: now it's back. Weird.

Vitale is on the ice for the morning skate after taking the puck in the face from the big ogre. But no Neal, Sullivan, and of course, no Niskanen. Hope Neal didn't **** up a hand or anything dealing with Ferrence.
