10 at a row at home
Most dominant player in the league
Returning dominant player
Multiple "career years"
40+ win goalie
100+ point season for the team

Nothing to ever be happy about.

luckily the devils couldn't hit the net

That's what I was telling my wife. The game should have been a lot closer than it was. The post game interviewers were ruthless on Sid for his pass to set up Parise. To his credit, he handled it with dignity even though I'm sure he was pissed and wanted to tell them to uck off.

they should have been ruthless towards him...it was a piss-poor play, and if it was Martin making that play then do what sid did later in the game, everybody would be wanting him cut right now...

Get the crap out of the way now and tighten it up for the post season.

Yinzer fans suck (i.e. The Martin stuff, among other things)

The Martin stuff is moot and for folks who really haven't been following the team. Ever since they split up him and Michalek, he's been a steady + player. He doesn't even look like the same guy...pretty much looks like the old Martin. Another in the long list of stfu moments. Yinzers should stick to neanderthal pursuits like football.

I'm sold on the pairing change. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a big Martin fan, but his play of late has been a huge improvement. Hasn't had a minus game since February 26th. He's +16 since then. Last night he was plus 4 and he played a ton of minutes because they were down a guy and Letang was out for a bit.

I would like to see their game tightened up before there was just 2 weeks left in the regular season, but as long as they are preforming better in April, i shouldn't complain too much...

but it's so much fun to complain!
