So based on current numbers of signed players and the current cap for this year, the Pens have $12.3M to spend on about 8 or 9 roster spots.

Salary cap to be 58.6mil according to Bettman if NHLPA extends 5% escalator clause. That's one million more than originally thought.

With Lovejoy potentially in the NHL next year, the Pens are $13.195 million under the Cap as it will escalate to $58.8 million next year. The details to be released on Cooke will be added on later.
