Here's the deal. I let a lot of stuff go here... Tons that I don't agree with, but I let go because you should be able to voice your opinion. However, when I see a thread degrade to the point that it's neither informative or entertaining to most, I'm gonna do something about.

If this thread goes ok, so be it. If it degenerates to the point that members start getting personal, it's gone.

Haha, check out MSDNC trashing Romney for Hurricane Sandy relief rally

These people really need to do a reality check. This is way out of line when you have to question such activity. Shallow and insensitive as you can get.

Andrea Mitchell too

She even questioned if the donations would be going to storm relief victims.

nothing degenerated

it was a poor decision on your part

the board lacks activity. 8 or 9 people in a few threads a day tops

and based on something that had not yet happened, you deleted one of the most active threads the board has had over the last couple months

we're all adults. if mib wants to provoke, he chose the right thread, and it was civil

if it bothered you that much why didnt you just ignore it

My call and I'm not interested in your opinion.

why?

if he wants to feebly attempt to defend obama by posting juvenile cliches and analogies, this seems a proper place to do so

there is some slight potential entertainment value too

You know very well that this was on the way to going to mib vs freak XX and I and very few others are interested in that. You wanna continue with him do it by PM.

They can't help but to politicize everything, especially this time of the year.

I see they don't mention who pays for it. The freeloaders would use it and the rest of us would pay for it in extra "fees and taxes" added to our bills or in price increases from the businesses providing it for their extra bandwidth and security measures.

Yeah same here. It was civil when I left around 4pm...I was going to check out the thread last night but fell asleep instead. I know when freak and MiB clash it can get pretty heated.

Let me explain my previous post, I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.

"equal financial footing."

You work hard for what you get. I see posts from news sites, etc. about individuals expecting free phone, free this, free that, free everything from the government without contributing to receive them. Especially the phones. If you can't afford them, you don't get them. I can understand getting free phones that has emergency services only, but not the whole shebang. If you can't afford the fun stuff, you don't get them. There has been so much corruption in the welfare system it is a shame. Back in the day it was a stigma to be on 'relief', now it is almost like a privilege. And I am all for drug testing to receive welfare, THAT should be a requirement.

Fair is fair, get off your butt (not pointing any fingers here) and do something. Don't expect someone else who is working 2 jobs and over a 40 hour work week to pay for your stuff because you expect it. I have a few relatives who work around the system and that is why this is a sore sport for me.

OK, rant over, I done.
