Got one answer to your question BV. Yea, he is a Linux geek.

Best bet would be to have either Openoffice or LibreOffice installed - that way it's just like having Office on a PC -- or if thats not an option, there is Documents to Go that allows you to view Office documents (thats th free version for droid -- they have a pay that allows you to edit). Hopefully one of these options will work -- or better yet, lose the bastardized OS and just go Linux - then you can run everything!

Did that help? I had no idea what he was talking about, but this guy is a genius with computers and all that goes with it. But I have to laugh, he still has an old school cell phone.

Help is needed.

I got my new router, Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band router WNDR3400v2.

Everything connects, computers, games, and tablet. Daughter can connect with her iPhone. I can't with my Droid, I keep getting temporary avoiding poor connection error. Is this a know issue with Droids? I do have the latest software on it.

It is no big deal,if I tweak anything I will probably lose my internet connection everywhere else, and I really don't use much usage for me to use the wifi. I am just wondering what is going on.

I have a droid and I've never seen that message. I have connected to hundreds of routers too. Weird.

Here's messageboard thread discussing that topic. I don't have time to read it though.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I did do some research and people are blaming it on the JellyBean upgrade. I have no trouble getting on my work wifi, just the one at home. And it never drops a connection, I never can connect, I just get that error. Plus since all my other stuff connects and daughter can connect with her iPhone, I am betting it is JellyBean.

All fixed, that was easy.

I stopped at the Verizon store just for the heck of it and the guy told me to go to my router.net settings and change the auto to anything else. I changed to to English and ta da!! It worked. That was the easiest fix I ever did.

Now to fix a silly order I did online for my mom, silly me gave them my Tarentum zip code instead of her Cheswick one. :doh:/>

Isnt' "View" part of that toolbar?

Maybe try right click below the url field. Should give toolbar options, I believe.
