King Henry gets the start again in goal. He's started every game for them so far. No a good move IMO with this condensed season.

Just because Despres scored doesn't get him off the hook. His defense has been awful, and if Niskanen is healthy, he's not even in the lineup.

Overall, last night was a defensive gem. They clogged the neutral zone and it really didn't seem like the Rags had too many quality chances in the Pens defensive zone. It also helped that TV was so good positionally. Dude just seems calm cool and collected in net right now. Very solid. Pens played an excellent road game. Maybe they can envision themselves playing a road game tomorrow.

BTW, I won't be around in chat tomorrow nor will I see any of the game. Fricken work.

Was it just me or did the line combos and defensive pairing seem to be more consistent? Obviously there was the usual adjustments due to special teams and a little bit of two headed monster thrown in occasionally, but I didn't notice much mixing and matching. Hmmmmm......

Jeffrey certainly handling the 2nd line duty well.

Jeffrey actually has some skill and deserves a look in the top six.

Of course, he'll be scratched in favor of Boychuk tomorrow.

But there is a winter advisory, or warning for tomorrow. 4-6 of the white stuff and probably 6-8 at my house. Groundhog stew anyone?
