Mario will be on hand in Johnstown Sept. 29 for ceremonial puck drop to start the season. First Lemieux there since Denny. #slapshot

So, this is nice, but it is not a Jr A Tier 1 program? But still good for the area....Tier 2. The future D1 kids of college hockey. Which, should help PSU's new program.
This is also good news for Wheeling because I heard the Nailers were talking about relocating to Johnstown. Now they will probably sit tight.

My buddies son was asked to come try out for the team! Woot!

Yup, pretty good. Gainfully employed and the boy had his first tryout (of 3) Sunday.

My kid is playing IM softball at Pitt. :( Guess he got his sports genes from his father.

My daughter was MVP of her championship Skee Ball team in DC.

Well they both keep active, so that's the important thing. They both work out and run. My son also plays plays street hockey every summer. I think he does IM football too and Ultimate Frisbee, so it's all for fun and it also helps keep him fit. He's probably already thinking about the Turkey Cup Hockey game and Turkey Bowl Football Game coming up in a couple months.
