Can your car handle like this on ice?

It could come close if my tires had 1" steel spikes installed, it just wouldn't sound so cool.

They're really just 1/4 inch studs on a Hoosier Dirt Modified tire. I thought for sure he wouldn't hook up in that turn but according to the driver it's pretty much a hair off the chassis setup for dirt, those tubes are actually designed for weight transfer to the right rear. The power plant is just a normal crate 358 steel block/head probably putting out about 400-500 horses

The first link is what I thought was really cool, some old fart went and actually built a radio flyer car that resembles the actual wagon. Thing is street legal too.

I'm saying I'd need 1" spikes. Well, that and a race car.

Not sure who did this, but I thank them:

Quote

I have filmed the prototype of the Ferrari F150 (known as the Enzo successor) in action! Video includes the mighty 6.3L V12 engine starting up (a world's first!) and many full throttle accelerations at Fiorano racetrack in company of a Ferrari Enzo. The sound is quite similar to the F12 Berlinetta (after all, they share the same engine) but the F150 has an higher exhaust note, and at low revs it burbles nicely.

Also, as it is just an "ear-gasm":

Downshift at speed, with a little crackle down, makes my pants tight. I'll admit that. Except for his missed shift, that's ... not so good.

Oh my.

I approve of this.

Ford GT headed east on I-40 (right as it crosses the Rio Grande) here in Albuquerque, NM.

So
Much
Fappage.

On a sad note, here's video of my car making an awful racket.

Rattle rattle rattle rattle. The rattle goes away when I depress my clutch pedal and returns when I release the clutch pedal (in neutral). As such, there's something going on in the bell housing. Expect moar pictures of parts coming out and parts coming in. Why? Because SPRING is finally here and the weather's nice.

Time to get my baby running well again.

I saw one of these pass through Slippery Rock once. Same color too. I was, to say the least, shocked.

There's a few in town around here.

Also saw a couple of Lamborghinis, but didn't have a chance to get the phone out to take a shot. This guy allowed us to pace him and even gave us a few revs before blowing past our little Subaru. Had I had Molly running, we'd have likely played for fun, just to hear that thing open the gates of Hell and let loose the horses.

That is the one nice part about living out here. Stuff like this never really has to go into storage except for maybe 2 or 3 weeks of the year when there's actual BAD weather. Other than that, it's smooth sailing.

To see a Lambo around here is a rare event, but it does happen. Ferraris are a little more common.

There was a Mercedes SLS at the mall the other day. I wanted to snap a photo, but the owner was getting out of the car. Amazing. The dude drives a car like that, yet he shows up to the mall in sweatpants. Go figure.
